Raising Leilani

Over the winter and spring of 2016 I lived with my brother, his wife, and their daughter — my niece — Leilani. Affectionately called "Bug" she is a tornado of joy and life. There are moments of love, frustration, awe, inspiration, and learning on all sides. To raise a child is one of the supreme accomplishments of life and each story and circumstance is unique. This series looks into the lives of one family doing their best to navigate this challenge and gift for the first time.
